She is a homoeopathic physician having an experience of more than 12 years in her field and specializes in mental health and physical disorders. She has been giving her services across the globe; diagnoxing and treating many patients from various regions. She also gives free consultation to armed forces and to people who are below the poverty line.

Mental illness affects 19% of the adult population, 46% of teenagers and 13% children each year. Rate of youth experiencing a mental health condition continues to rise. The rate of youth with Major Depressive Episode (MDE) increased from 11.93% to 12.63%. But what is also staggering is how the efforts of one person, one particular person, can truly make a difference in addressing this problem. She has been treating so many patients suffering from mental illness and volunteers to create awareness about the issue of depression and anxiety among school students, examination phobia, and addictiveness of cell phones.

She has made a significant contribution in the following areas:

1. Reducing Stigma experienced by people with mental illness.

2. Providing support or treatment to people with mental illness and their families.

3. Advancing knowledge in the area of mental illness/health research.

4. Giving psychological counseling to overcome depression.

She strives to utilize every available “pulpit” in her efforts to raise awareness about this issue. She has presented programs about mental illness in Udaipur and to various social groups and clubs. She actively serves as a member on various mental awareness campaigns. Because of these efforts, she has the respect and gratitude of those for whom and with whom she serves her medical treatments, her neighborhood residents, and her peers here at clinic.
