I was born in conservative family in Udaipur; I am the third child, after one brother and sister. Like I mentioned since I was born in a conservative household the expectation was for a baby boy. But my parents were not of the same thinking – they provided us all the special love and care against all odds.
I completed my education from Alok School and then worked towards getting a diploma in interior designing. I was inclined towards arts and cultural studies right from my school days, so after completing my diploma in interior design, I went on get a master’s degree in Sanskrit and a fellowship and PhD in Vastu Shashtra.
The fellowship is Vastu Shastra gave me the opportunity and the expertise required to set up my own interior design and vastu shashtra consulting company. My company’s name is Naksharta interior design and vastu. So far, I have managed to complete 150+ projects in interior design, vastu correction, architectural planning.
I couldn’t have reached where I am today without the help and support of my parents, my husband, my kids, my in-laws, my peers and my friends. I am very lucky to have found such a support system even in the conservative backdrop I was raised in. I wish to pay forward by continuing to do good work both as a professional and as a human being.
