I currently work as a teacher at CPS school and have a degree in commerce. I started – Nikshar foundation – an online poetry groups solely to pursue my passion. I also organize open-mic events at local cafes’ where not only locals can showcase their talents, but also to help people overcome their stage fright, if any. The youth mostly with their day jobs doesn’t find enough time or environment to indulge in hobbies like singing, dancing, recitals, etc. Sure, we all have hobbies but what I want to promote is indulging in for no other reason besides your own personal enjoyment. Hobbies are an important form of creative expression and so regardless of whatever hobby we choose, it is an important aspect of our wellbeing.
